The Artifact Project
This is my currently biggest and most active Project. The goal is to create a Suite of Tools enabling everyone to create your own Voxel Game and allowing other people to modify it. It is entirely data driven, includes an Editor, a Server and of course the Client. I'm working on it since February 2023 and have recently started opening up to the public to show off the Progress. My personal goal is to create my favourite Voxel game called "The Artifact Project", which is inspired by Space Engineers, Subnautica, Factorio and mixed with Modded Minecraft, but also explores entirely new Ways and Gameplay mechanics.
Chapters
Currently most of the work is being done on the Artifact Editor (by me). It's purpose is to effectively be the Frontend for making the actual Game and later additional content for it aswell. In here you can create Meshes, configure Materials, deal with all i18n related things, configure Blocks, BlockSets (which is essentially the Objects that make up the Game World's terrain and large objects), Map Generators and much more.
Since the Project has grown quite significantly already, i wanted to give you an overview here, so i split the overview into separate chapters for ease of reading.
